Two Door – Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird and Sam Halliday – have now added a second date in the city so their other fans can see them too.
A source said: “Alex was delighted to hear their US gig had been practically booked out by Barack and his team. He thinks it’s mad the President of the United States has their tunes on his iPod. You can’t get a much bigger fan than that.”
Still, Barack’s block-booking will give Two Door, whose second album Beacon is out September 3, an excuse to spruce up their shoddy rider.
They’ve been requesting crates of tonic wine Buckfast – not something they really want to be offering Barack if he drops by their dressing room.
