Tatt's a fitting tribute ... Rihanna creates memorial to her gran on her chest
RIHANNA has paid tribute to her beloved late gran with a new tattoo just under her boobs.
The inking - done at a parlour in London's Soho over the weekend - is of the Egyptian goddess Isis. The distinctive design shows a female figure in Egyptian dress with huge eagle wings.
And Rih-Rih is so proud of the work she has posted a cheeky pic of it on Instagram.
Holding her arm across her bare breasts she took a close-up of the image which spans her entire ribcage.
She posted the snap alongside the caption: "Goddess Isis - Complete Woman - Model for future generations - #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1love"
The 24-year-old star's grandmother, Clara Braithwaite, lost her fight against cancer in July this year.
Rihanna was said to be utterly devastated by the loss and turned her Twitter feed into a tribute board with poignant snaps of Dolly, 80, on the brink of death.
Arriving in Barbados for her loved one's funeral a week later, she wrote: "Words can't explain the essence of her beauty."
Isis is said to be 'the ideal mother and wife' as well as friend to slaves, sinners and the downtrodden.
Just before posting the snap, Rihanna was photographed arriving back at her swanky West End hotel after performing at the Paralympics closing ceremony.
Wearing a simple orange Kenzo tee and high-waisted silk trousers, she cut an elegant figure.
The Rude Boy singer was joined on stage earlier last night by Coldplay and Jay-Z in a dramatic send-off to the Games watched by millions round the world.
